We’ve updated all the cars to repair the rev warning lights. We also took the opportunity to reduce the engine power of the Jaguar a little bit because we didn’t want it to be faster than a Porsche 956 or a Lancia LC2. It’s our last physics update for the event.
A few tips for managing your life engine:
– Porsche 956 & Lancia LC2: qualy mapping should be reserved for qualification only and you have to switch gear as soon as you see the rev warning light. If you are on race mapping, your engine will be safe for 1h race even if you don’t pay attention to the rev light.
– Rondeau M379: sprint mapping can be use for 1h race if you take into account the rev warning light.
– Jaguar XJR5: your engine will be safe for 1h race even if you don’t pay attention to the rev warning light.
For some cars on other grid, you can see a red line in the rpm tachometer. Try to stay under this mark to keep your engine longevity.
